I saw this gorgeous picture from Canadian House and Home via Shelterrific and fell in love with the dark wood furniture and red-and-white, Tim-Burton-esque zigzag bedding. So pretty, right? All it needs is a huge mug of hot apple cider, a stack of Nippon Vogues, a cuddly Pomeranian, and I'll be there all Sunday long.
Come to think of it, zigzags are widely underrepresented as a pattern (put your hand down, Missoni, I'm excluding you from this example). Everyone goes nuts for plaid, polka-dots, and stripes but no one really gives zigzags their due. My closet has enough rugby stripes to choke an elephant but nary a zig, nor a zag to be seen.
Anyway, I was inspired enough to make a kicky little Polyvore featuring some zigzag pieces- enjoy!
